The 1252 bistro bar is an ideal venue for dining. Choose either outside under the marque on the all year round synthetic lawn surrounded with pretty planters and flowers, the front patio looking out onto the high street, the formal dining room for that special meal or the snug of the cellar for an everyday home cooked meal.
We offer coffee and tea in the afternoon, a simple and affordable menu at lunch time and an a'la carte menu in the evening and at lunch time if pre-requested .
Our food is all prepared in-house. The menu changes regularly to suit the produce available to us we use only raw, fresh ingredients.
We can cater for wedding's, parties, and offer reasonably priced buffets for events such as christenings and funerals. We are centrally located, within walking distance of all the churches in town with our own parking.
